Adding 2nd Processor to a Dual Processor Motherboard
This is a discussion about Adding 2nd Processor to a Dual Processor Motherboard in the Windows Hardware category; I have a Pentium Pro 200 computer running NT 4. 0 which has a dual processor motherboard with one processor on it. I bought a matching set of processors for it and installed them. When I reboot only one processor is recognized.
I have a Pentium Pro 200 computer running NT 4.0 which has a dual processor motherboard with one processor on it. I bought a matching set of processors for it and installed them. When I reboot only one processor is recognized. It is in the same location as the single processor. Does anyone know how to configure the system to recognize both processors.
