Adminpak.msi
This is a discussion about Adminpak.msi in the Windows Hardware category; While installing adminpak. msi (from the Windows 2000 Server CD), I got an error message saying this is not compatible with Windows XP. Well, I need to use this package of admin tools. . . is there a work around? A new adminpak.
While installing adminpak.msi (from the Windows 2000 Server CD), I got an error message saying this is not compatible with Windows XP. Well, I need to use this package of admin tools... is there a work around? A new adminpak.msi? I went ahead and installed it, and most of them worked. The IIS snap in was the only one that gave me problems then.

You need the Admin tools from Build 3650?+ of Windows Server 2002 to use a WinXP Professional workstation to do administration work on a Domain.
This was 'broken' after Beta 1 for whatever reason.
