Adobe hangs?

This is a discussion about Adobe hangs? in the Windows Software category; I have run adobe 6 faultlessly until this week. Now, any email I receive with an adobe attachment causes the computer to hang and adobe will not run. I have tried uninstalling and downloading a new copy of adobe, but get the same results.

Adobe has some tips to try out. Not sure if it's the reader causing this or some system file that has gotten corrupted.
