"Always On Top" not always

This is a discussion about "Always On Top" not always in the Windows Software category; Recently, items that should have the always on top property don't seem to be working properly. Namely, I am having trouble with the Start/Task Bar (especially when set to auto hide), and Hauppauge's WinTV when not in full window mode.

Recently, items that should have the "always on top" property don't seem to be working properly. Namely, I am having trouble with the Start/Task Bar (especially when set to auto hide), and Hauppauge's WinTV when not in full window mode. Sometimes the only way I can get to the task bar is to press the window button on my keyboard. Any suggestions?

error messages and games crashing
