AMD and bad fps on Quake 3 !!
This is a discussion about AMD and bad fps on Quake 3 !! in the Windows Games category; Hi all ! I have a problem, i have a AMD Athlon 1 ghz, asus k7m motherboard, gf2 ultra (hercules). (win2k) 12. 40 w2k(hercules drivers) 800 resulution in quake 3 vsync off And i hade 175 fps in quake 3 befor but i hade to format and after that my computer did not work as i whanted.

The game is lagging and i lost alot of fps in the game .

I installed via drivers and dx8.
btw i even change disk on os to a brand new disk, so its not the disk.
I cant figure it out. ¤#//
So i hpe someone can help me out.

i have now 140 fps and i here some people have up to 200 fps on simular computer.

Which drivers are you using? So far the best for me have been the 10.80's, but you may have to play around with several different versions.
ehhh, your not list specs. Your not listing driver vers. Your not listing game settings. etc, etc.
