I just upgraded to a audigy card from a SB live card. I have xp and loaded the drivers off the cd and then installed the XP update... Everything seems to work fine... BUT. With my old SB live drivers... I used to have EVERY Option in the record settings. AS in... midi synth, line in, cd, Aux, TAD, PC, CD Digital, What you hear, Mic, wave/mp3. I used to have each on of those separate so I could mute just AUX.. and still have LINE in. NOW... With these new drivers I have "ANALOG MIX... that includes Line/cd/aux/tad/pc All together. WHY? Creative or anyone else... I need to be able to split this up... and have a option to MUTE and UNMUTE each one... is there a registry setting or something? Right now... the program I am using is PowerVCR and when I try to record it mutes the sound... because I think its having problems with this analog mix. IF anyone has any info on this.. please let me know.
