IPC$ and Logon failures...
This is a discussion about IPC$ and Logon failures... in the Windows Networking category; We have one workgroup of WinMe, Win2K and WinXP through wireless usb adapters. . . Here is the problem: - XP can see everything on the workgroup (files, printers, etc. ) - Win2k and WinMe can see everything on the workgroup except XP's shares that is ;( The exact errors I get are: FROM WinME: IPC$ (while logon at X ...
We have one workgroup of WinMe, Win2K and WinXP through wireless usb adapters... Here is the problem:
- XP can see everything on the workgroup (files, printers, etc.)
- Win2k and WinMe can see everything on the workgroup except XP's shares that is ;( The exact errors I get are:
FROM WinME: IPC$ (while logon at XP as Administrator)
FROM Win2K: Logon Failure... (while logon at XP as Administrator)
This issue I saw it for the first time with Win2K and the sollution to that was that I had to logon from other computers as Administrator but clearly this is not the case with XP...
