any alternative to the livedrive?
This is a discussion about any alternative to the livedrive? in the Windows Hardware category; I bought an OEM Audigy, thinking I could record digitally from the sound card to my minidisc recorder. Well apprarently, the digital out on the back of the pci card is only for speakers. I did some more research and apparently the Livedrive has optical TOSLink output.
I bought an OEM Audigy, thinking I could record digitally from the sound card to my minidisc recorder. Well apprarently, the digital out on the back of the pci card is only for speakers. I did some more research and apparently the Livedrive has optical TOSLink output. I believe that's what I need to connect my MD recorder. My question is, since I already got the Audigy, non-Platinum, is there any other piece of hardware that has optical output and that I can hook up to the Audigy like a Livedrive?
