ANY HELP? Capture DV Display Hard Drive RPM wrong

This is a discussion about ANY HELP? Capture DV Display Hard Drive RPM wrong in the Windows Hardware category; I recently just bought a Maxtor 7500RPM 300GB in order to capture DV from pinnicle studio 8. 8. . . but when I tried to capture the Read and write rate is only 2000+ instead of 20000+ I have another 40g HD and the read and write rate is normal.
