Any working diskdefraggers

This is a discussion about Any working diskdefraggers in the Windows Hardware category; Anyone know of any disk defraggers that work in XP?? Diskeeper doesnt, Speed disk doesnt. Those are the only 2 ive heard of and seen that are relatively good. .

because when i installed DK6 it overwrote the built in crippled version of diskeeper.

Guess you're SOL until you uninstall that and reinstall WinXP. There won't be any defragmenters that support WinXP until the release date gets close. (The new 5.1 NT system makes it incompatible with all available software)

Perhaps it already supports the new NTFS? If not, I wonder if there are any repercussions? (ie. Chance of data corruption)

Diskeeper 6 does work, you just need to use start, programs, accessories, system tools, disk defrag.
