I have a Micron Millennia XP AMD Athlon 1000MHZ computer with 256 of DDR Memory (FSB200), a Nvidia Riva TNT2 M64 AGP video card and a Sound Blaster Live! Value Sound card using Live!ware 3.0 drivers. My bios is an Award F1q (just
flashed) and my motherboard is an Aurora-Gigabyte 7DX Motherboard which has a Northbridge AMD 761 Chipset and a Southbridge Via 82C686B Chipset.

I could not find Via's latest drivers, ver 4.31 for my motherboard on Via's Web site. I have just upgraded Windows 2000 Pro SP1 to SP2 and was wondering, if Via came out with stable 4-in-1 drivers yet and was told that the 4.31 version was
it. However, I do not know if they were tested on my type of computer and are worth the effort to install.

Does anyone know if these drivers work well and would my computer benefit from them? Is there somewhere I can download these 4-in-1 separately and from what link and what's the file name?

Thanks,

i believe that you use the 3-in-1's for the via chipset. I have the asus A7M ddr board with the same north/south chipsets. Using asus's update utility, it installed the 3-in-1's.

actually i think that you will be ok with 4-in-1's. I was reading some about the final and it said something about this specific chipset (686B) so just go with that.
