I'm not using any.
I always update to the latest possible version of everything unless there is a good reason not to. Hundreds of man hours go into updates and it seems crazy not to use them.

But yes, read what is in the update first and decide whether it is relevant to you before applying it.
However, I do have a backup, and I am willing to do some messing around if things go wrong. I suggest everyone does the same, and if they aren't willing to risk, don't bother.
Anyway I'm using them and am happy to report my system in running very nicely.
