aspi manager for my nec 7800a under xp
This is a discussion about aspi manager for my nec 7800a under xp in the Windows Hardware category; I just received my new system with the nec 7800a cdr and winxp. I'm trying to use fireburner and cdrwin to burn some. bin files but they both complain that they can't find the aspi manager. I couldn't find any info on that in neither nec's website nor mictosoft's.

This is what I've been using to add an ASPI layer to my Win2000 installs for the past year and a half. I've also been using it for XP for the last 4 months. It has worked perfect every time.
Other people are using something called "ForceASPI" but I've never had to. I believe in doing things the easy way. I'd only "force" it if the easier way wouldn't work!

Thanks for the help, I will try it and see if it fixes my problem.
