ASPI Problems
This is a discussion about ASPI Problems in the Windows Software category; I just reinstalled Roxio EZ cd creator 5 countless times and i have replcaed my SCSI cables as well. Every time I try to burn a CD I get a stupid ASPI error. Is there anyone that has experienced the same problem? If so is there a way to get around it so that I may burn CDs again.

can you tell us exactly what the error message is?

E80041927: TrackWriter error - ASPI failure - [T7121]
E80041934: TrackWriter error - Flush failed - [T7127]
E80041925: TrackWriter error - Command retry failed - [T7118]
Also 15 minutes or so Windows XP will reinitialize all my SCSI devices and a lot of times this happens when I burn a CD. The hangs for a second but does not lock up

Try reinstalling EZ-CD without DirectCD - I have seen somewhere that XP doesn't like DirectCD (perhaps doesn't like living with the XP version of DirectCD).
Also make sure that you have patched EZ-CD to the latest version (I think current version is 5.02).
