Asus P3V4X bios update
This is a discussion about Asus P3V4X bios update in the Windows Hardware category; Anyone knows anything about the 1006. 003 file for the Asus P3V4X mobo? Should it be renamed to 1006. bin ? Or should it be used as is with aflash. exe ? This is my very first Asus mobo (my two first ones were excellent DFI which i knew how to flash).

Sorry, for those smilies in my spec., just fixed this.
There is no problem. You can use the afash program and the file name that cames in the zip file. Make sure that you make a backup of the previous Bios. Mine did ok, although I didn't saw any changes. Anyway I wasn't having any problems either, so...
