ATI Radion owners - Win2k issues?

Hello people, I have a need to bring in some more machines at work. We have sourced some good higher-end machines but they contain ATI Radion cards. This is obviously different from the usual Matrox G400, ATI Rage Pro, NVidia based systems we normally buy in.

Hello people,
I have a need to bring in some more machines at work.
We have sourced some good higher-end machines but they contain ATI Radion cards.
This is obviously different from the usual Matrox G400, ATI Rage Pro, NVidia based systems we normally buy in.
These workstations are going to be running Win2k.
What if any are the issues of running a Radion card under Win2k?
Gaming isn't really an issue, however we do sometimes play 'after-hours' LAN games, so from a personal point please do mention any issues here too
I know it's not always best to go for 'cheap' well I should know this, so for middle of the range graphics cards, if the Radion isn't going to be cutting it, what similar cards will?

Not cut it?!!

Whatever could you mean

No really I have found no real problems, although some people have had problems with 19" veiwsonic monitors, and couple of other large screen "mid-high-end monitors". The problem was were the ddc2b (plug and play" was not working, locking the refresh rate at 60Hz. It is fixible by either a forthcoming driver, or getting a properly terminated cable. Check out the www.rage3d.com radeon forum for the lowdown.

Overall the card is excellent for business use, and 98% there for games. Remember the drivers are still immature.

rage3d will have all the queastions you need!

This card is rock solid...I had an Athlon SlotA 750 on an FIC SD11 MB, no problems!!It replaced my Nvidia TnT2 card with out a hitch in the giddy-up. I then got an ASUS A7V and AMD 1.13 GHz, I switched the system around and wham it went right in, W2K is awesome and so far I am really tickled!!
