This is a discussion about Audio in the Windows Hardware category; When xp installs Microsoft kernel wave audio mixer, it gives me an error, saying that. . data is invalid. Please help me. I've been looking for what an Microsoft kernel wave audio mixer is for 2 weeks and i havn't found it.

Now i can't hear my mp3s, but my .midi works fine. So im guessing its the Microsoft kernel wave audio mixer.

Have you tried looking for the newest drivers for your sound card? That might be a good place to start.

i have, and installed it, soundblaster(pci 128). I just need assistance on how to make xp install mircosoft kernel wave audio mixer.
Im willing to try anything. I came up with an idea and am asking you guys for help.
