Audio Problem When Running Flash

This is a discussion about Audio Problem When Running Flash in the Windows Hardware category; I have an audio flash application that intermittently fails. I am running XP, have the latest version of flash downloaded. I thought that the problem was being caused by having Paltalk application open at the same time, but the same behavior happens even when I am not running other audio apps.

I have an audio flash application that intermittently fails. I am running XP, have the latest version of flash downloaded. I thought that the problem was being caused by having Paltalk application open at the same time, but the same behavior happens even when I am not running other audio apps. Could it be my sound card? The audio app I am running is a one-of-a-kind many-to-many audio application that allows all users to speak (of course not at the same time) by depressing the down arrow key on the keyboard. At some point, I thought my problem was the keyboard, but found that I still have the problem no matter what keyboard I use. Other users are not having this problem, so I know it is not the application itself. What happens to me is that my mic gets "stuck" the first time I try to use the mic after loading the app and then I have to reload the app after which I am fine. Any suggestions?
