AvP Network games??

AvP functions really fine for me, but there is one thing that seems strange. The only choice in Multiplayer is to join Mplayer. com. Where did the Host/join lan games go? How do I get the LAN games option back? ********************** W2K Pro 2195 AMD K6-2 400hz v770 w/Nvidia 3.

I would do that if I could make that choice. The only option available under Multiplay is to "Play AvP free on Mplayer.com". Am I missing something??
