Backing up the Registry Key

Working with MS on solving a problem with Microtek Scanner software. Before doing anything else, however, they want me to back up the Registry Key. I assume they mean the Registry. First, where do you find the Registry Key? Second, can the Registry be backed up to a single 1.

First, where do you find the Registry Key?

Second, can the Registry be backed up to a single 1.44 floppy or do I need something larger like an LS-120 disk?

Select any Registry key in the left panel, choose Export from menu and choose any name with .reg extension. The full Registry would be around 25 Megs. A single key may be stored in a few kilobytes.
