This is a discussion about Battlefield 2 in the Windows Games category; i have a compaq presario R3000 with the NVIDIA GeForce4 440 Go 64M and i just bought Battlefield 2 after i installed it i try to run it and it shows the battlefirld 2 logo then the the screen turns black like its going to run after about 10 secs of being black it comes back to my desktop and doesnt run whats wrong

Battlefield 2 will not run with any Geforce 4 (or lower).
Here is the list of officially supported video cards:
