Fast writes do speed up things a little, but it's know to cause instability. Most people don't do it in BIOS, and the drivers seem to disable it. It can be enabled with tweak utilites, I believe NVMax is one.

How about the video cache UC , what is that and does the geforce4 support the other one ? its 4 characters I cannot remember them exacally
Caching Video Bios is fine, but don't let your bios cache your video RAM. This will cause major problems.
