Best detonator driver for TNT2 - video playback problems
I am having problems with video playback (DivX etc) in Win XP. using the latest detonator drivers (23. 11, 28. 32, 29. 20). They do not seem to be accelerating the video properly - blocky video & high CPU usage.

The last drivers I had successful acceleration with are 21.83 and 21.81. I am using a Creative TNT2. The only problem with these are the BSOD infinite loop problem. I have tried using NVmax fix - BSOD 'infinite loop' fix. But no luck.
AGP fast writes are turned off...
Any suggestions? What are the best detonator drivers to use for this card (3D performance & video playback)?

Just simple. You use old driver (e.g. 21.83 as you wrote).
The newer driver are written for newer cards. Anyway you don't obtain special performance with newest driver on your TNT2. So use driver you have no problem with it.
I don't know your configuration. Maybe your CPU is reason of your problem.

Yeah - I thought as much: 21.83 it is.
Here is a tip to help prevent infinite loop BSODs:
In Media Player 8, Go to Tools | Options | Performance | Advanced - and uncheck "Display Full Screen Controls".
Works well; any other suggestions re. infinite loop problems?
