This is a discussion about Best DivX performance in XP beta2 - Drivers (which?) in the Windows Hardware category; In win2k i use 7. 17 and divx movies play fine. I use the same driver set in wniXP beta2 and the divx playback is somewhat choppy. Anyone eXPerience anything similair ?! Divx works ok with the 7.58 drivers except some movies will no play in media player 8 and when you play them in the old media player and make it fullscreen it stretches the picture out. I have tried the 3.11 alpha and the newest 4a 48 version. What divx codec are u guys using?

Scrap media player for divx. I use this nice, simple FAST divx player called BSPlayer.
