Except for the PC part, that award definately goes to the Final Fantasy series...

I cant make up my mind but the whole Ultima series (i know their not all in the last 5 years); NWN and Baldurs Gate II come to mind
Does everquest fall in that category?

Everquest is not an RPG...at least not in my book.
FF is not my cup of tea. (Well 7+ is not anyway)
NWN is but poorly. Seems like they dumbed it down:
No real party.
Doesn't stick to alot of D&D Rules.
Single player is not as good as the BG series.
The Fallout series is one of my favorites.

Everquest is a true RPG.
I never really like Fallout.
Never gave it much of a chance tho.
