This is a discussion about best grahics card for P4 2.67Ghz in the Windows Hardware category; i have a P4 2. 67 gigahertz comp with 512mb RAM and in need of a new graphics card (in preparation for doom 3 ). which of these cards 3 graphics cards will be best for my cpu: 9800pro/xt or x800 cards? any other good cards? or am i limited because of my cpu? thanks.

wait till doom 3 comes out and there are reliable benchmarks for it.
obviously the X800, no doubt about it, if you can get the money go for the X800XT, you get 16 pipelines as opposed to the X800's 12.
The 9800 series is still good 9especially on the bang for buck factor now), but comparing performance, the new X800 series blow them away....
