hey guys, i've got a real big problem with this stupid computer of mine, I'll try and explain my problem...

ok, here is my setup:
pIII-800, 384meg of ram, asus CUV4X motherboard
primary master: 80gig seagate, dynamic disk
primary slave: cd burner
secondary master: 80gig seagate, dynamic disk
secondary slave: DVD drive

the first disk has a 5gig windows partition, another 50gig partition, and the remaining 25gig as a stripped volume with the second hard disk

what i did: i've had a few problems with another computer's hard disk, so i swapped the cd burner in my computer with this hard disk, i fdisk-ed this new disk(i'm sure i did the right disk) the formatted it. Then i swapped this disk back out with my cd burner... Now it just won't boot.
Everything is back the way it was. It is detecting everything fine in bios, it detects the hard disks, does the "PCI device listing", detects for a for a floppy disk, then just stops. it doesn't display "invalid system disk" or anything, it just sits there with the cursor blinking. (if i put a disk in it DOES boot from it).

I'm thinking the partition table or master boot record or whatever it is with a Dynamic Disk might be corrupted but i've got NO idea what to do now to test/fix it...

Is there anyone out there with any idea what might be causing this, or how to fix it? Would muchly appreciate any ideas/suggestions. thanks guys
