Black & white in XP
This is a discussion about Black & white in XP in the Windows Games category; How can I play Black&White using an account other than Administrator. The problem is the game works fine under the Administrator account, but when I use my Power user account an error Directx 7 or higher is required.
How can I play Black&White using an account other than Administrator. The problem is the game works fine under the Administrator account, but when I use my "Power user" account an error "Directx 7 or higher is required" ... but my or our XP has Directx 8.
What could be the problem?

Like many games, Black and White must be run in an account with administrator rights.
