Black & White - WinXP / Geoforce 3 Startup Problem
This is a discussion about Black & White - WinXP / Geoforce 3 Startup Problem in the Windows Games category; Got a major problem when loading BW in XP, in that it goes up to the spinning Lionhead logo, and past that it freezes. Pops up with a blue error message with a conflict with the nv4_disp. dll and an infinity loop - now it is possible that it is actually a conflict with the Geoforce3 or the driver.

System:
WinXP build 2505
Athlon 1 GHZ T-BIRD on a ASUS A7V133 (BIOS1007)
Using default 4n1's from XP
Leadtek Geoforce 3 TDH - Detonator - 12.90
526 SDRAM

until i reinstalled win2k.
winxp and geforce 3 just doesn't work right together.
trust me, i worked about 150 hours on this problem... i tried everything.
