Blinking screen.

For a few days now my background is blinking from normaly white into green/yellow. Sometimes it is very often. What will i do about it.

Hi there,
My computer is going nuts i think...
My screen is "blinking" green/yellow. For a few days now my background is blinking from normaly white into green/yellow. Sometimes it is very often.
What will i do about it....????

Check to see if you monitor cable is put in firmly on both ends.

Can you try a different monitor? Or a different video card.
 
The data being sent to the monitor could be bad it the cable is bad or teh video card is bad. Try re-installing drivers for that.
 
My suspision is that its the monitor itself. May be a good time to haul the computer over to a friends house and check it with their monitor (a tower is infinitly easier to move than a monitor).

Good to be of service. I made the tip because the exact thing used to happen on a PC I had in the early 90s and also sometimes with the two 7 year old iiyama beasts that I have running at the moment.
