I would like to install the game Vampires: Bloodlines under Windows 2003, the setup ends with this error msgbox:

Have you tried run setup.exe in compatibility mode?
 
I have do ask, why you are trying install it to server OS?
Bored server admin?

Install.ini doesn't really do anything. You'll probably have to download Orca (MSI editor) and edit the games .MSI to remove the requirement.
 
I too play games in 2003 so I have to do this every once in a while.

compatibility mode didn't help, was my first try to get it working
 
just started Orca...
 
found an entry named LaunchCondition
(Not Version9x=400) And (Not VersionNT=400) And (Not VersionNT=502)
 
do you think, its the one i have to change?
what now, how do i make it 2k3 compatible?

Done...
just removed the entry, created an iso with the files from CD1 and the modified .msi ...
