Hello, I was using my brother's computer last night and while recording a CD with Nero (5.564), I got this blue screen and I had to press reset to restart the comp. I only get this blue screen while using recording a CD. Other than that, the computer runs perfectly fine doing other stuff. I am thinking it might be power supply problem. Here is the spec of my brother's system:

Heyo,
I seem to recall that Nero was on the list of Applications that are aided by the WinXP Application Compatibility Patch, though I'm not sure which versions it was.
If you haven't already installed this patch, you may want to grab it at
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
I'm not sure if this'll fix your problem or not (or if you've already installed this fix), but it may be worth a shot.
Best of luck

Yeah, I have already installed all the patch available on the windows update site and I even installed Via's latest 4in1 driver. Still getting the same problem.
Not all the time, tho. They fixed some stability issues I was having.
Oh, whoisurdaddy, does the BSOD list any files in it? That'll be your culprit most likely;)

Brian Frank: no, the BSOD didn't list any files. It said something like: Bad_Pool_Caller or something like that...
