Boot from USB 2.0 CDRW ?

This is a discussion about Boot from USB 2.0 CDRW ? in the Windows Hardware category; Is it possible to boot the pc from a USB 2. 0 CDRW ? Am thinking of buying a Plextor PleXWriter 24/10/40U. I guess it depends on the motherboard BIOS ?.
