Unfortunately your problem is very common with the live cards.

Only reason i upgraded to the Audigy is to get rid of that very same problem.

multiple possible fixes include:
1. Pci latency, adjust this in your bios if you can. somewhere between 32 and 64 is preferable. WARNING, this may fix this problem but it may also cause others!. use with caution.

2. Latest VIA 4-in1's.

3. Try a different pci slot, as a matter of fact... try em all. juggle slots with other devices, sometimes there will be only 1 combination of devices to slots that will work right. (god, i hate VIA)

4. Disable everything you are not using, such as com ports, lpt ports, onboard audio.

5. chuck the sblive out da window.

OP
When I have no other devices in pci slots, only Live!, everything works fine. So I moved Live! to another pci slot and seems to work without problems with both my netcards in pci slots. Thanks!
