I am using Mozilla Thunderbird for my email app. When I get very large attachments, they come broken up into pieces such as:

file.ppt
Part 1.3
file.ppt
Part 1.5
file.ppt

I know alecstaar uses Thuderbird but he has disappeared. How do I combine these together. I know that this is an application issue because I can download it just fine from the web interface. I received no replys at all from the mozillazine forums. I'm hoping you all can do better.

Thanks

Have you checked the settings under email for file size?

Well, I have yet to find those settings. I have searched the general options and the acount settings and do not see anything of the sort.

Have you tried clicking on file.ppt and saving it on disk?

Yeah, that works but its only part of the file. It is less then the file size that it should be and power point doesn't recognize it.
