Building DMI Pool
This is a discussion about Building DMI Pool in the Windows Hardware category; I upgraded from a K7-650Mhz to a K7-750Mhz. Now I get the message Building DMI Pool. . . . . . . right after the bios boot up. And the system goes no further. When I plug my 650 back in the system boots up fine without this hang up.

When I plug my 650 back in the system boots up fine without this hang up. I have taken out all the peripheral devices. The only card in is the old PCI 2 meg vid card. I also tried disabling the CPU L1 and L2 cache. No luck. What can I do? Here are my system specs.
Abit KA7-100 with latest flash.(raid controller disabled, USB disabled)
AMD K7-750Mhz (7.5 x 100)
300W power supply
No hard drive plugged in. (boot from floppy)
No CD ROM
128Meg Infineon PC133RAM
