Burning Software - Problems - Help
I can´t burn anything in XP, both CDRWIN 4. 0a and WinOnCD 3. 8 dont work. CDRWIN gives this msg when entering: Error: Unable to initialize the ASPI manager. ASPI Manager not found on your computer but lets go on, when trying to record I get the msg that no CDROM recording device was found on the IDE or SCSI bus.

As for WinOnCD, it gives the error msg: "This installation package coudl not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package"
Any ideas or solutions?

i have the EXACT same problem with win2k pro using CDRWIN even if i installed EZCD Creator(it sux anyways).
Already solved the problem in CDRWIN by installing some ASPI layer for win2k, that was located in the download area of CDRWIN's site at www.goldenhawk.com . As for WinOnCD the problem remains, the installer refuses to run, and I don't have a clue why... ;(
