c & c: red alert in win 2000
I installed red alert using the method stated in the games section. It worked except there is no network play option. On my win me machine network play is there but not on my win 2k machine so im sure it has something to do with win 2k.

Have you installed IPX?
yeah i've got IPX and TCP/IP installed.
With windows 2000 and Xp, I sometimes find that some games don't see the IPX protocol. I haven't found a workaround as of yet. Have you tried the compatibility modes?
now i have another problem.
it works fine on my main machine. but on my 2nd computer (also win2k) there is no COMPATIBILTY tab.....any ideas how i can get one ?
ive installed SP2 and it makes no difference.
