Well, my Radeon 8500 gets 5300's easily with default settings in 3DMark 2001. This is low, I realize, but an 800MHz CPU is certainly not straining this baby.

My system is similar, but not exactly the same.
 
WinXP Pro
Epox 266a Mobo
AthlonXP 1600+
Radeon 32MB DDR
 
From memory, i get around 3700 points (my machine is at home and i'm writing this at work) in 3dMark2001. I don't know how much difference the the XP CPU would make compare to your TBird, but it's probably a closer match than pr-man's effort!
