This is a discussion about Can I Do this ? in the Windows Networking category; I have one win2k and one XP machine. I have to let 30 users acces to some files. This i can do. But Is there a way of sharing just one file that requires a password to access it. Im using guest account ATM.

Im using guest account ATM. I have been playing around in users and groups trying to create a new group that requires a password to access this one file but it just comes up you do not have access.
Any ideas how I might get over this ?

This is a guess: share that file and see if you can password it then.
