I have flashed my BIOS twice to current updates and have all the required ACPI info in my System Devices under System Properties (ACPI Generic Bus, ACPI System Buttom, ACPI BIOS). My PC runs fine under Win 98 so I know the BIOS is valid. Is it possible that my processor is not ACPI compliant? I'm at a loss here and have been unable to find much help on the web. I'm A+ Certified and this is fairly frustrating that I cannot install Win 2k on my own PC lol. The HP website has been no help at all. Any ideas are very appreciated. Thanks.
Oh yes, when I install and do the recommended skip to bypess ACPI installation (F7), the CD ROM keeps asking for the Win 2K CD, although the CD is already in.
