Can't change/view my monitor properties
This is a discussion about Can't change/view my monitor properties in the Windows Games category; My problems seem not to have an end. I still can't play any games (screen goes black, shakes and clicks - as if finding the right resolution or refresh rate - and returns me to windows) even after tryind diferent drivers configurations and using refresh rate fix program.

But I believe my problem discribed above has something to see with my next (weird) problem.
If I left win xp use it's own Nvidia drivers, my motitor (Sony E200) is correctly shown and I can change it's properties.
However, if I install different drivers (nvidia 21.81 detonator, for exemple) then there's no way I can change or view my monitor properties. Windows "says" it is a default monitor and the "properties" tab is not allowed!!!
Even "refresh rate fix" program doesn't detect my monitor
What can I do?

This was not a download XP version
I have Win xp professional CD
And there's no way you can change your monitor in "device manager"... you can only change de video adapter (graphics card) ;(

i CAN change MY moniter in device manager.

kudos on actually buying the software, so many peoples have problems because its pirated...
maybe try adding a plug and pray moniter in device manager?
