can't ping 127.0.0.1
This is a discussion about can't ping 127.0.0.1 in the Windows Networking category; I have a computer with xp pro that is having trouble pinging localhost / 127. 0. 0. 1 Also, it can't ping it's own IP address, 192. 168. 1. 107 However, it CAN ping the router, and any address on the internet.

I tried resetting the tcp/ip stack using
netsh int ip reset
but it didn't help. Also, the network card was working perfectly fine before i upgraded from xp home to xp pro... could the upgrade possibly have screwed something up?
