Capture problems with ATI's mmc 7.1: No Audio
This is a discussion about Capture problems with ATI's mmc 7.1: No Audio in the Windows Software category; Ok, I have XP rc1 with the 3224 drivers (and man its been a fight from word go) I finally can capture video under mmc 7. 1, but now there is no audio. When I go to edit best quality capture there is no audio choices.
Ok, I have XP rc1 with the 3224 drivers (and man its been a fight from word go) I finally can capture video under mmc 7.1, but now there is no audio. When I go to edit best quality capture there is no audio choices...its grayed out (as if no sound card). I can play video in no problem (has sound) but as soon as I capture there is no sound. Even when I tried virtual dub it wouldn't capture sound. I already checked and its set to record line-in. I have a TB Santa Cruz with the Win XP beta drivers. Has anyone found a fix or work around for this...or even experienced this problem? Maybe I'll just go back to windows 2000.

Install the new multimedia centre for the ATI TV wonder that was released on July 5th 2001.
My tv wonder captures fine in winxp with audio and all.

OP
I should of said I'm using the radeon64 ddr vivo, not the AIW. Will it work anyways? I'm just about to try anything.
Can't tell you if it will work, your the one who owns the ati vid card =)
The package contains the drivers for the tv tuner which you obviously don't need but the multimedia centre should work fine.
