CD AutoPlay gone away

This is a discussion about CD AutoPlay gone away in the Customization Tweaking category; I've had XP Pro installed for about a week and all of a sudden my CD's no longer autoplay. Both Music and software CD's provoke zero response. I don't know if it's something I've done or just a bug. Any ideas?.

I've had XP Pro installed for about a week and all of a sudden my CD's no longer autoplay. Both Music and software CD's provoke zero response.

I don't know if it's something I've done or just a bug.

Any ideas?

Hi, go to My Computer, right click on the cddrive, properties, autoplay.

Thanks for that but no luck. Tried tweaking the 'autoplay' settings but nothing I tried provoked any response. It doesn't even 'prompt me each time to choose an action'
