cd burning=corrupt instalation file???
This is a discussion about cd burning=corrupt instalation file??? in the Windows Hardware category; when i try to check cd i get corrupt instalation file it says burned sucesfully??? I got XP (processor & os, hehehe)kr7a-raid, via4in1+agp4. 10, plexwriter 24/10/40a, latest version of clone cd and nero and im completely clueless.

I had the same problem, I dont know what caused it. But I had to re-install windows (another reason) and it didn't return.
B4 the problem came about when I used the "built in" software or Nero 5.1. It didn't come up when I used ez cd creator 5 plat (with updates) or with nero 5.5.
I beleive it maybe have been the aspi layer that I had to install.

There's a fix for CD burning at the windows update site, but I think it's only for the XP built-in CDR features. You can try it nevertheless.

Yes yes i instaled it and it fixed it(haven't had any problems since but we will see) is there any way to save that patch on the hard(or burn it to cd hehehe), so i dont have to download it over and over again i reformat???
