CD Writer Wizard

Hi Guys, I have XP RC1 and I have not seen the CD Writer Wizard. I tried to drag files to my CDR Drive but it doesn't do anything. I have HP 8100+ RW How to get it working. ARC.

Hi Guys,
 
I have XP RC1 and I have not seen the CD Writer Wizard. I tried to drag files to my CDR Drive but it doesn't do anything.
 
I have HP 8100+ RW
 
How to get it working.

You can right-click the files and go to "Send To ->CD Drive". That will put them in the queue to burn. Then you have to right click on the drive in my computer and tell it to "Write these files to cd"... that should start the wizard

Well that is the problem, I think my cd writer is not recognized properly somehow, or do you think i have to add/remove some extra features...
 
 
I have HP 8100+ . Now I tried to write the files using the send to Menu. Here is how it looks..
 

 
Anything else to try?

I don't know - I didn't have to do anything special to get mine working, it was just there.

I believe it doesnt recognize it as a CDR/RW
 
I checked the properties and it says "Standard CDROM" though the device name is HP CD-Writer+ 8100
 
If anybody has this driver, please reply and let me know.

I figured it out.
 
I just checked the bug fixes of RC2 and found HP 8100 in the list of bug fixes.
