Im using an LG DVD Drive in both computers which is a speed of 16x/48x. The drive that is in the 2nd Computer is the one i am having problems with. When i put in a CD everything is fine, the autoplay runs, etc but when i install anything off any disc the DVDDrive seems to think the disc has a scratch or summin and wont read it properly, then i wud get an error message from the setup saying could not copy files please check your disc and then i have to put the disc in the CDWriter and that works great. The DVDDrive on the 1st Computer works fine and reads everything OK!I know the DVDDrive is OK coz i installed windows using that drive.Any help would be appreciated coz its driving me insane.

OP
Managed to sort this problem, the power supply going into the DVDDrive is dodgy so have to buy a splitter for another power supply wire. Thanx
