CD-Ripping with Pioneer DVD-115
This is a discussion about CD-Ripping with Pioneer DVD-115 in the Windows Hardware category; i read an article long ago posted on NTCompatible about the DVD-115 or whatever you call it. I don't know if any of you have found this but ill say it anyway. The review on it says that you can't rip audio cds with it.

The review on it says that you can't rip audio cds with it. Well, I tried using MpegDJ Enc on it, and i thought yea they were right.
One day, I got bored and tested a freeware mp3 ripper/encoder called Simple.
Man was it fast: i ripped a 30m cd in less than 5mins. [160kbps]
But the point is: it works.

I haven't had any problems with mine. Audiograbber works ok with it.
The drive just doesn't pull audio as good as my Plextor does. Other than that, the 115 is a very sweet drive for everything else.
