I have recently purchased a new computer with the following spec; 1024 RAM DDR2 400 250Gb 7200rpm SATA Hard Drive 48X CD Drive ATI Radeon X600 256 HyperMemory graphics card Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit HD Sound Card Since buying the computer I have downloaded SP 2 for XP and I have the latest version of DirectX (v9.
I have recently purchased a new computer with the following spec;
1024 RAM DDR2 400 [2x512]
250Gb 7200rpm SATA Hard Drive
48X CD Drive
ATI Radeon X600 256 HyperMemory graphics card
Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit HD Sound Card
Since buying the computer I have downloaded SP 2 for XP and I have the latest version of DirectX (v9.0) installed.
I installed championship manager 00/01 only to find as soon as I clicked on the shortcut on my desktop a message reading;
'cm0001.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.
We have created an error report etc etc etc.'
The next obvious step was to change the compatibility through the properties. I ran the program through Windows 98/Me. This time the game would load up but as soon as I went to start 'new game' or 'quickstart' the following message would read; 'there is not enough available system memory to create the game. Please free some more up and try again.' I cannot imagine that this is the case as this is a reasonably high spec machine and i was not running any other programs at the same time.
Please help me, my life is not worth living without this game!!!!
